SOILS4MED and SHARInG-MeD collaboration

Share

The project SOILS4MED gathered its consortium and the advisory board for an annual meeting: an inspiring moment for the progress towards healthier Mediterranean soils.

SHARInGMeD — a sister project under the PrimaProgram 2022 call — is proud to be part of the meeting and share a common ambition: to safeguard our soils, and the future of Mediterranean agriculture and environment.

The meeting was more than an exchange of results; it was a celebration of friendship, brotherhood, and shared purpose of common actions.

SOILS4MED and SHARInG-MeD explore complementary paths: from innovative soil-health monitoring systems to participatory awareness actions, from practices improving at the one time soil, farmer’s profit, and sustainability, while reducing the environmental impact, to policy and community engagement.

The dialogue revealed opportunities that will strengthen our common mission of soil stewardship, resilience, and sustainability across the Mediterranean area.

SOILS4MED and SHARInG-MeD advance together, nurturing the land that sustains us all.

Our joint vision continues to grow, also through cooperation, such as the joint EGU 2026 session “Soil Health in Practice: Monitoring, Awareness, and Harmonisation across soil management, land uses, soils types, and horizons” convened by the coordinators of the projects SHARInG-MeD, SOILS4MED and SUS SOIL.

SHARInG-MeD & SOILS4MED together for a healthy soil, agriculture, and environment.
