The first day of the summer school, titled “𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙤𝙞𝙡 𝘽𝙤𝙙𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙎𝙤𝙞𝙡 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙙𝙞𝙖𝙜𝙣𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙨: 𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙥𝙝𝙤𝙧” was held at the Department of Agricultural Sciences of the University of Sassari. It included an opening lecture by coordinator Prof. Claudio Zucca and a keynote lecture on the nature of the soil and on soil classification and mapping by Prof. Franco Previtali.
In the afternoon, a much appreciated visit of the Laboratory of Pedology of the dept. was offered to the enthusiastic participants!
