GENERAL OVERVIEW
The third edition of the European Mission Soil Week 2025 will take place on the 5 – 6 November 2025 in Denmark at Aarhus University, Aarhus.
The event is organised by the Danish Ministry of Green Transition, Aarhus University, and the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development, under the auspices of the Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU.
This third edition of the European Mission Soil Week comes at a pivotal moment for soil policy in Europe. The European Parliament and the Council of the European Union have adopted the Soil Monitoring Law, representing a major step toward advancing soil protection and restoration across the EU.
The event will bring together stakeholders from policymakers, researchers, farmers and other land managers to financial institutions, businesses, philanthropies, and citizens to share knowledge and explore challenges and solutions for sustainable soil management. Through sessions, stands exhibition, and networking, it will foster collaboration, scale innovation, and advance the implementation of the Mission Soil across Europe.
